Daniel Island Escape

"We were fortunate enough to find Steve Herlong as our architect for our dream house on the beach of Sullivan's Island and, unlike so many others who build houses, the whole experience was a pleasure. Steve is a brilliant visionary. I would give him pages of wish lists and accordian files full of pictures from magazines and he was able to translate it into feasible drawings. His attention to detail was exemplary. I remember one day he visited the site three times, early morning, noon and late afternoon to look at some sample shades of green on our shutters so he could see them in different sunlights!! Our house is spectacular, both functionally and aesthetically, with many interesting details included by Steve. If I were ever able to build a house again, I would look no further than Herlong and Associates."
